The Meme


You are now on a quest to be the very best trainer in all the land! In your own, special way. I mean, everyone has their own thing they seek in the Pokemon world, right? Some want to gather badges. Other people participate in contests! Still others decide to devote their life to research and becoming a Pokemon Professor.


1. You're in a Pokemon battle! Is it a friendly battle? Is it a heated match between destined rivals? Or are you just mugging some preschoolers for their lunch money?

2. Either 1 went pretty well and you're just chillaxing, or 1 went pretty poorly and you're recuperating and healing up, or maybe you have no idea what I'm talking about when I say 1 because you didn't just fight a Pokemon battle. Regardless of the reasons, you are now at a Pokemon Center.

3. You are traveling on some route or another and enjoying the scenic vistas and the epic scenery of wherever you are. Or maybe you're getting ready to camp out for a while? Well. You're just stopping and smelling the metaphorical roses.

4. You are lost. So this is kind of like 3 except it's less enjoying the ride and more going oh crap what is this this is a cave I wasn't supposed to go into a cave was I? I can't use surf how am I supposed to get through this lake crap.

5. You're participating in a contest! You're getting ready to, you're appealing, you're sabotaging your competition, whatever it takes to get that ribbon.

6. You are somehow involved with a Pokemon Daycare. Maybe your Pokemon is expecting? Maybe you've got this...this egg you gotta haul about until it hatches. Or maybe you don't have enough cash to get your beloved Rattata back so now you're mugging preschoolers for their lunch money. It's a very dark and dire business you're involved with.

[Still a bit nervous, Fluttershy nodded, taking a deep breath.]

L-Let's go, Fearow...!

[Fearow responded with a cry, flapping its wings and lifting into the air.]

[Alright maybe Rapidash wasn't the best choice against Fearow,considering Fearow could fly and everything. But she got a little excited since it had just evolved from a Ponyta. However, Rainbow Dash wasn't going down without a fight.]

Rabidash use Flamethrower!

Oh, look out...!

[Fearow swerved sharply, just avoiding the fire attack.]

Use Aerial Ace!

[With another pump of its wings, Fearow dove through the air towards Rapidash.]

Use agility to dodge and then use stomp!

[Rabidash quickly got out of the way and waited until Fearow was closer to the ground and then stomped him from behind]

[Fearow hit the ground with a cry.]

Oh...! U-Um...Fearow, Assurance!

[Fearow spread its wings out with all of its strength, knocking into Rapidash.]

[Rapidash hit the ground hard, it made a grunting noise as it slowly got itself up on shaky legs]

Rapidash! Flame wheel, let's go!

[Rainbow was not about to lose this]

[Fearow flew up higher, spinning in the air to avoid the attack once more.]

Fearow, use Drill Run!

[Folding its wings in, it dove towards Rapidash as it spun.]

[The drill run collided with Rabidash a second after the flames from the flame wheel left. Rabidash was sent flying a few feet, landing on its side]

Come on Rabidash, get up!

[Dashes yelling didn't get through, because that last attack had Rabidash down for the count]

Ah man...

[With a proud crow, Fearow landed beside Fluttershy, who gave him a hug.]

You were great, Fearow...!

[Rainbow smiled a bit and returned Rabidash]

Thanks a lot buddy, you were great out there.

[She clips the pokeball back on her belt and turns back to Fluttershy]

Not to bad you two, way to keep up.

[Fluttershy smiled as Fearow fluttered behind her.]

Well...Fearow always does a really great job protecting the other Pokemon around my home...

Well I can see why, he's pretty tough.

[She would have to look up where Fearows usual live so she can catch one. Later though, because she still has a battle to finish.]

You up for round two?

Mm...I guess so...

All right then, because this time I don't plan on losing!

[She grabs a pokeball and throws it high up into the air]

Go Braviary!

[strengthinkindness]

[Fluttershy hesitated for a moment, trying to decide what Pokemon would be the best match against the Valiant Pokemon.]

Let's go, Lucky!

[Throwing her Pokeball into the air, it landed and let out her Blissey.]

Bliss!

Braviary let's start out strong and use Brave Bird!

[Braviary flew high up into the sky and then sped toward the ground like a bullet before pulling up in a flash of blue and heading straight toward Blissey.]

Lucky, Defense Curl!

[Blissey somehow manages to curl into itself, forming a ball of protection against Braviary's attack.]

[Even though the attack hit straight on, it seemed to do more damage to itself then to Blissey. It shook it off however and flew back up into the air]

Use whirlwind!

[Braviary flapped its wings as hard as it could, whipping up the air all around Blissey]

[The Blissey gave a bit of a cry as the wind blew it out of the field.]

Lucky...!

[Meanwhile the wind whipped around her, knocking loose one of her Pokeballs. It hit the ground, releasing her Lopunny.]

[Braviary stopped flapping as soon as Lopunny was out.]

Perfect now hit it with an Aerial Ace and quick!

[The bird Pokémon flew at full speed toward the Lopunny, planning on hitting the poor Pokémon before it even knew what was going on]

Quick Angel, use Dig!

[The Lopunny jumped up briefly before quickly digging a hole and disappearing into the ground.]

[Braviary landed a few feet from the hole after just barely missing. Suddenly a smirk appeared on Rainbows face as she got an idea.]

Hyper Beam! Into the hole!

[Fluttershy stiffened just a bit, but putting on a brave face she tried to think.]

Angel, Quick Attack...!

[The Lopunny suddenly burst out from the ground, rushing towards Braviary.]

[The hyper beam was ready to be released but when Braviary saw lopunny coming towards it, he changed directions and released the hyper beam right at Lopunny]

[The beam hit Angel directly, sending the Lopunny flying back. He landed on the ground heavily, but after a moment he pushed himself up to his feet, breathing heavily.

Fluttershy bit her bottom lip, thinking. Then, with a sudden remembrance, she called out.]

Angel! Thunder Wave!
