The Body Heat Meme




Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

[Exile couldn't help chuckling a little as Karnage held onto him for warmth. Luckily his long fur was pretty good for that.

Even so, he manages to shrug out of his own coat, putting it over the sky pirate's shoulders.]

And who am I to be telling?

[There's a bit of teasing in his voice, though.]

I-I d-d-do not care who you are, just do not tell anyone!

[Despite the complaining, Karnage wraps Exile's coat around himself tighter, shivering. He's looking pretty pathetic at the moment.]

[He smiles a little, feeling a little bad for asking him outside in the first place. He drapes an arm around the pirate to help keep him warm.]

You are worrying too much...but fine, I will nyet say anything.

[fabulouspirate]

Was th-th-that so hard?

[Karnage presses himself closer to Exile, his teeth now chattering.]

What are we d-d-doing out here anyways?

[Exile can't help grinning.] I like the cold.

[fabulouspirate]

You are c-c-crazy!

[lambs_jiffy]

No...I am husky. Huskies are best when in cold weather.

[fabulouspirate]

[Karnage growls.]

G-g-get me back inside!

[lambs_jiffy]

[Exile laughs heartily, but rises to his feet.] All right, all right...

[Then he grins slyly.] You want I should carry you?

[fabulouspirate]

[Karnage pushes himself off the husky.]

N-no I d-d-do not want you t-t-to c-c-carry me!

[lambs_jiffy]

[He laughs a little, backing off and holding his hands up in a defeated sort of gesture.]

Okay...suiting yourself...

[He keeps an eye out, though; with how badly the other is shivering, he wonders if Karnage will be able to walk straight.]

[The pirate is having a lot more trouble than he was anticipating. However, now it's a matter of pride that he doesn't do anything more to rely on the husky, so even though he's too cold to pick his feet up he's not going to try to get anymore help.]

[lambs_jiffy]

[He grins a little, a little used to the pirate's pride to know that Karnage wasn't going to ask for any help.

Doesn't mean he's not going to try, though. So he walks ahead a little, shuffling his feet in the snow and kicking snow away. He makes sure to look like he's doing it playfully, while really he's trying to clear a path to make it easier for the other to walk.]

[Karnage is too concerned about how cold he is to pay any attention to what Exile is doing, and unknowingly takes advantage of the path the husky provides for him.]

[lambs_jiffy]

[Glancing back, Exile grins to himself and continues clearing the way.

He may occasionally take advantage of his heat vision too...just when Karnage isn't looking.]

[fabulouspirate]

[Karnage by now has wrapped his arms tightly around himself, holding Exile's coat as close to his body as he can. The walking thing is starting to not work so well.]

[Glancing back again, he frowns a bit. He's pretty close to just picking Karnage up, whether he wanted him to or not.]

I am not realizing you are so sensitive to cold...

[fabulouspirate]

Unlike a certain large and thick-furred and thick-headed person who is standing in front of me, I am not made for waltzing around in the snow!

[lambs_jiffy]

[Used to the others temper, Exile just laughs.] True...not everyone can be used to dealing with cold...

[fabulouspirate]

Hmph.

[Karnage is still trying to walk, and still not really making any decent headway.]

[lambs_jiffy]

[Watching him for a moment, Exile then turns and heads back over, picking up the pirate in a fireman's carry, not carrying at this point whether Karnage gets angry at him or not.

It's getting to hard to watch him looking so miserable.]

[fabulouspirate]

LET GO OF ME YOU MOUSCLEBOUND MUTT!

[lambs_jiffy]

[He grins.] Nyet.

[fabulouspirate]

[Karnage attempts to beat his fists against the husky, but he can't get much strength behind the blows.]

[lambs_jiffy]

[He doesn't really feel Karnage's blows, so he doesn't really mind as he finally gets them both inside. Only then does he let Karnage down.]

See? Is much quicker this way.
