The Body Heat Meme




Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

[The wolf explodes the instant his feet touch the ground.]

DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN!!

[Exile holds his hands up in surrender. He's not so much scared by the pirate's temper tantrum as he is amused by it.]

Fineski...whatever you say.

[With a grin, he motions to the couch in front of the fireplace.]

How about you are taking a seat, and I'll get fire started?

[Karnage grumbles, but he sits, more thankful than it looks to be sitting down after all the effort of being out in that freezing cold.]

[Chuckling under his breath, Exile places some logs onto the fireplace. Then he zaps it really quick with his heat-vision, just enough to light a spark and get a fire going.

Once the fire is big enough, he heads over the couch, flopping onto it next to Karnage.]

[The fire is just what Karnage needed, and he finds that he's able to relax now, though just a bit. He sinks back into the couch, only to be jostled into being uncomfortable again when Exile plops onto it.]

[He glances at the pirate curiously, but does put a little room between them so the other wouldn't be too uncomfortable.]

[Karnage grumbles a little more and wraps himself up in Exile's coat a little further.]

[Exile just smirks a little, not really minding as they sit in silence in front of the fire.]

[AFter a few moments Karnage decides he's fed up with silence.]

Well? Aren't you going to say something?

[lambs_jiffy]

[He glances over.]

What would you like me to say?

[fabulouspirate]

I don't know know! Anything!

[lambs_jiffy]

[He gives the other a curious look, not really sure what to say.]

Well...are you being warmer now?

[Good try.]

[fabulouspirate]

Of course I am!

[lambs_jiffy]

Well, that's good...

[Yeah...really not sure what to talk about...]

Are you not going to apologize for dragging me into the harsh, freezing, snowy out-of-sides?

[He can't help but snicker a little at that.]

I could...but it is giving us reason to cuddle, so I am nyet too sorry...

[fabulouspirate]

...I do not see you cuddling me.

We did earlier...

...You want me to now?

Why else would I be saying that you overgrown mongrel?

[He smirks a bit, scooting closer and once again draping an arm over the other.]

[fabulouspirate]

Much better.

[Karnage presses himself into the big husky.]

[lambs_jiffy]

[He grins.] Agreed.

[fabulouspirate]

[The wolf finds himself getting warm now, so finally takes off the husky's coat. As the fire blazes and his body warms up, he finds the exhaustion from their outdoor escapade catching up to him, and his eyes slowly drift closed. He rests his head against Exile's broad chest, and feels himself starting to fall asleep.]

[Glancing down at the other, Exile manages a small smile. Then, closing his eyes, lets himself drift off to sleep as well.]
