Body Heat Meme

The Body Heat Meme

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

[Of all the times to get caught in the park in a blizzard, Jamie just had to pick today. Of course, if he'd listened to his mom when she specifically told him NOT to go, he wouldn't be in this mess. Still, he's not about to try and walk through several feet of snow to make it home. Sitting for a little bit to wait it out seems like the best option.

The best refuge he could find was a gazebo situated in the center of the park, which provided a decent enough shelter from the snow. It did next to nothing when it came to keeping the cold and wind out, but it was better than sitting on a park bench neck deep in snow. So there he sat, chilled to the bone with his arms folded tightly in an attempt to keep himself warm. If he knew where Jack was right now, he'd be telling him to cool it with the blizzard already. Then again, Jack couldn't really control a snowstorm once it started...

Well, at least he forgot to take the picnic blanket he'd stuffed in his backpack out from a few weeks prior. It was the only thing keeping him from completely freezing.

The snow has made it incredibly dark outside, and it's starting to visibly make the child uneasy..]

[The snow was something Pitch had once admired, until Jack came along to make Pitch despise it. Luckily he didn't seem too deterred from the spirit's snowstorm as he stepped out from the nearby shadows by the park. The wind whipped and lashed at the spirit, but he barreled through it, pushing his weight against the wind. He was almost to his lair then, but something had caught his eye.

In the gazebo, within the park was that...

The Last Light himself. Jamie Bennet. What on earth was he doing outside in a blizzard like this?

The spirit pursed his lips together and slipped into the shadows, only to reappear next to Jamie, rising up from the shadows of the gazebo. He towered easily over his form, looking down at him with stern silver eyes, but smiled dangerously with those jagged teeth of his.]

Jamie Bennet. Fancy seeing you here.

[Jamie would have to be dead not to be startled by Pitch's sudden appearance, and it takes all he has to bite back a scream of surprise. He already had been pretty curled up on the bench, but his legs are pretty much up against his chest now. He looks up slowly before finally meeting Pitch's gaze, his own narrowing as he pulls the terribly thin blanket around himself a bit more.

At first he doesn't say anything, feeling quite vulnerable all alone as he is. He does make a small noise of affirmation, but that doesn't do Pitch much good by way of letting him know what the heck he's doing here in the first place.

Finally, with his teeth chattering, Jamie mumbles.]

W-w-what do you w-want.

[The Tooth Fairy was not suited for cold weather. Her light plumage didn't truly allow for much--or any, really--protection from the cold. To say that she disliked the snow though would be a lie. Jack was the bringer of it so she couldn't find it in herself to truly feel negatively towards icy conditions. Even so, she wished he'd coordinate with her or something so she didn't run into snowstorms like this while on the job.

Her destination had been Burgess. The town was familiar for all the Guardians but Tooth especially as the children here kept loosing their teeth. This time it had been Cupcake. She'd gotten into a spat with one of the other children and, well, let's just say because of Cupcake being the girl she is there were two teeth she'd needed to collect in the end.

A cluster of her mini-fairies were perched on her shoulders huddling close to their queen. She had touched down in the wooded area just outside of Burgess, the frozen lake visible through the trees.
] Don't worry, dears [she cooed to her fairies] we'll be back up in no time. The storm should pass soon. [The girl's eyes drifted up towards the cloudy sky. She hoped it'd be over in no time.]
