one. It's your first date, and you're dropping them off at the door. Are they going to lean in? Should you..?

two. You have been friends since forever. Everyone knows you like each other, but the moment quite hasn't arisen for the first kiss. Until now.

three. Awkward first kisses! Maybe you just bumped noses, or you kissed their chin instead. Time for attempt number two!

four. Maybe this is your very first kiss, or maybe it's theirs! Either way, one of you is experienced and the other isn't. What if it turns out really bad?! (But hey, maybe you're a natural.)

five. The accidental kiss. Might have tripped over your own feet, or maybe you've collided and they landed on top of you. Either way, your lips are locked- Where you go from there is up to you.

six. UST kisses. There's been some sort of tension between you for a while. Maybe you fight all the time, maybe you're in love with each other and you keep getting interrupted before anything happens. Either way, that tension needs to end now!

What popped out was a very cheerful Litleo who immediately latched onto Pepper's leg, holding on tightly and nuzzling against his leg with a loud purring sound. Sycamore chuckled. "I see he likes you already! You must be very good with animals." It always pleased him to find someone who adored animals like he did. Like so many other people in Kalos did. "I hope you enjoy this gift when you take him home. He needs love and attention, and I hope that you will be able to provide."

The little lion certainly took Pepper by surprise, but thankfully he is used to being surprised by exotic animals back home on occasion. He smiled and reached down to gently pet the Litleo, letting it rub against his hand as he did so.

"I am very fond of animals, that much is true," He supplied with a grin, leaning back up after a moment. "I cannot thank you enough. This is a wonderful gift!"

"Ah, I figured you would be." He smiled and moved closer to pat Pepper on the shoulder. "I believe you will do a fine job. You remind me of my friend in his youth." Although, that concerned him a bit. After all...

No. He couldn't think of it. "Do you have some time to stay in Lumiose City today? I am sure you are busy, mon amie, but I wish to take you on a tour and treat you to some of the fine cafes."

Whoever this friend of Sycamore's may be, Pepper felt flattered by being compared to him. He must be a wonderful man, for the Professor to think so highly of him. At the question, Pepper nodded.

"I should have plenty of time to spare, actually. I was intending to spend today getting a better idea of the layout of the town itself before actually going about any business. I wouldn't be getting much work done if I got lost, would I?"

"No, I suppose you wouldn't! And it would be a grand chance to get to know one another much more comfortably." He nodded, wrapping an arm around Pepper. "I'll even get you a few more gifts so your journey through Kalos is even more fun. Consider it a Professor to Student gift." Even if they weren't really in that sort of relationship. Perhaps it would make it easier for Pepper to just accept them.

Pepper is certainly used to being presented with many gifts by friends and colleagues, so though he still feels that underlying compulsion to not accept so many kind gestures from him, Pepper just smiles and inclines his head. He cannot deny the gifts, not from this man. He seems like the sort who does this kind of thing rather often, anyway.

"That is very generous of you, thank you."

"Ah, wonderful then!" He smiles and moves in closer to him. "We should be off immediately, should we not? You must be hungry from your travels, of course!" He pulls himself away before moving in and placing a kiss lightly on each cheek. "Come, follow me! I know of the perfect place to eat. It just reopened too."

O-oh. ...A custom, perhaps?

Pepper's cheeks flare red at the kisses Sycamore gives him, causing him to blink a few times before returning to his senses with a stammering chuckle.

"Ye..y-yes, yes of course! ...Lead the way, professor."

Ah! Was he not prepared for it? Sycamore's face got mildly red after that. He coughed to clear his throat, however, and decided to change the subject.

"Yes! Please!" He opened the elevator and stepped inside holding it for his guest. "Let us enjoy our day."

Once again Pepper followed with a slight nod of his head and a smile.

"Yes, let's."

He smiled and moved closer to him. "I apologize. I did not think you were unfamiliar with the greetings of friends here." He's still a little embarrassed and would like an opportunity to make things okay.

"Mm? Oh, no, it's quite alright. No harm done, really," The Prince assured, folding his hands behind his back.

"Ah, if you're sure." He smiles at him, nodding his head. "I truly appreciate it." His hands slip into his pockets,as he's fairly certain if he tries looking so formal, he'll find a way to trip over himself.

"Of course." Pepper smiled back as the elevator shuddered and began to take them back to the entrance of the laboratory.

When they got downstairs and left the lab, Sycamore turned to his companion and smiled. "So, where are you headed to after Kalos?" As he pointed behind Pepper. "Come. This way."

Pepper followed as he answered, taking the opportunity to have a look around outside now that they had left the lab.

"I believe I have a few more places to visit in this country before I leave...assuming you are familiar with a country called Unova?"

"Ah, yes! I, in fact, did some of my research there!" Sycamore smiled and nodded. "In fact, I've considered going back there to find Pokemon to bring here for new trainers. I've always wanted to take care of a Piplup myself!"

"I see. I'm going to be visiting that region after I leave Kalos, actually."

"Ah, wonderful! You'll enjoy it there. Although it's a lot colder than it is here."

"That's fine! It tends to get rather chilly back home during the winter. We often get snow through most of the season, after all."

"Ah, yes! The winters do not get so chilly here, however. Haha, we had a snowstorm or two once. It was so bizarre!"
