THE BAD END MEME 2

You've chosen your path and it's led you to one of the worst possible ends. A bad ending you've averted in the past could be coming true after all, a possibility you've always feared could be happening now. It's game over.

Prompts
one。 SURVIVORS -- you two are the only ones left, whether it be the result of the apocalypse, a fight with the final boss gone horribly wrong, or something equally tragic. now you're left to contemplate friends and loved ones lost, as well as which one of you may be next.
two。 SICKNESS -- you are seriously ill. poisoning, virus, perhaps it's even mental; whatever the reason, you doubt time is on your side this time.
three。 FORGOTTEN -- you're not sure how, but your memories are crumbling and the things you do recall are hazy and make you dizzy. can you even recognize the person in front of you anymore?
four。 SEPARATED -- you can see them, hear them, but something's keeping you from being with them. perhaps you're placed in a room with impenetrable glass dividing you, or you're hiding in a phone booth downtown, calling them secretly.
five。 MELLOWED -- you've been through things, you've loved and you've lost, and all of that's changed you. maybe you finally decided to give in to temptation, you could be addicted to a substance you know is destroying you, or you've simply lost the optimism you had as a youth.
six。 ANTAGONIST -- you've flipped the coin. you had to do it; they might not be able to understand it, but you just can't forgive the things that have happened. the darkness has consumed you.
seven。 FREE CHOICE -- combine any of the others, reroll, or make up your own bad ending. the choice is yours!

6 | Monster!AU with human Fluttershy
At least until the day the demon side asserted itself. It wrapped him in shadows and rage, turning him into something less like a being standing there and more like a rip in space letting a dark void through. Four wings stretched out from the thickest part of the mass, which one presumed was his body if only because it seemed like it had limbs. And two red hot coals that were his eyes, somewhere above a dangerous rumble emitting from his throat.
When his mouth parted the sound was visceral, the fangs formed from the sharpest shards of someone's dread nightmare. The threat that had caused the demon form to come through had been easily taken care of, but now the question remained: what could get it to go away?]

Initially, when Chris had first been transformed, she had never been afraid of him. Even knowing what he was, what he could do...she never had any reason to fear. He had always been the same Chris she knew...the Chris she loved.
But this...this was not Chris. The demon before her now emitted such an aura of...evil, and she was more scared now than by whatever was threatening her before, that caused his transformation in the first place.
But like a train wreck...she was too terrified to look away.]

Lifting his head he inhaled a few times, sounding almost like a great beast scenting the wind. Somewhere in that great dark shadow interest perked and he tilted his head, then turned about.
Now those eyes bore into the nearby girl, looking on her with those firebrand eyes.]

What now?]

They narrowed, and for an instant Fluttershy may fear for herself, but she needn't. With a great unfurling the wings opened with a sound like snapping leather, and he turned away, seeming about to depart.]

Ch...Ch-Chris...!

Though there still seemed to be no recognition he stared on her differently than before. His name had seemed to have done something, whatever it was.]

Somewhere.
She takes another careful step, keeping her eyes on him. She knew she had to be careful, because there was no way to predict how he would react. But she still had to try something.]
Ch-Chris, I-I...I don't know if you can understand me...b-but...
[But what? What could she possibly say to him?]
no subject
ями еом отч илазакс ыв...
[The words were garbled and seemed to make no sense, but just as his gaze had they seemed to go right to the core.]
no subject
She takes another step towards him.] Chris...p-please...

ежилб идохдоп ен.
[His claws slid along the ground as he backed up a little. Her very presence was starting to cause a weird feeling in his body, all spurred on by the very utterance of his name. And he wasn't sure that he liked it.]
no subject
Ch-Chris...Chris, if you're listening...please...[Slowly she reaches out, her hand gently brushing his cheek.] Come back to me...

потс! тен!
[When her hand neared he cringed backward, and then an unusual thing happened. Though there was no cracking of the ground, no thunderclouds, nothing big like that her touch still seemed to have made an impact. Dark wisps pulsed down and out from his body, fading off into thin air. From his open mouth was a sound more felt in the depths of very being rather than heard, an outpouring of thousands of voices.
And then silence as he fell forward, catching himself before truly losing his balance. The shadows wrapped around him, tightened, and then broke apart, leaving... Chris. Thin body, thin tail, wingless Chris, though his clothes hung on him in tatters. If one were to look the "tattoos" on his back were glowing brightly, but it was a brief flare and they soon faded back to normal.
His legs trembled and he staggered a step, looking about ready to fall over.]

Then everything fell silent, and as she looked...she gasped when the shadows disappeared to reveal Chris. He was still an incubus, perhaps, but it was Chris all the same.
With another shaky breath, she embraced him, holding him up as much as she was holding him, her relief causing her body to tremble in his arms.]
no subject
I... hurt, Fluttershy...
[The shadows had not let him completely, to judge by the ethereal tint to his voice or the viper-like appearance of his eyes, but at least he was back. And he was here.]
no subject
It...i-it's okay, Chris. You'll...y-you'll be okay...
[No matter what it takes...she'd make sure of that...]
no subject
I'm so... so sorry, Fluttershy... That I scared you.
no subject
I-it's not...your fault. Y-you were just trying to...to protect me...I-I'm sorry, Chris...
no subject
[He shifted his hands to her shoulders and pushed back a little, looking on her with hurting, heartfelt eyes.]
I didn't know that... that part even existed in me. I didn't... Not at all.
no subject
H-how could you...? There was...there was no way you could have known...
no subject
[His hands on her shoulders trembled.] I'm a demon, Fluttershy! That-... [His eyes screw up and he fell back into her.]
How can I ever feel safe around anyone again.
no subject
D-demon or not...you're still Chris...That will never change...no matter what happens.
B-besides, you've...you've been in control for this long. We...we just have to be careful from now on...

It will be okay...you'll see...

I'm just scared, now that I know about it.
