Sometimes, being a muse is a tough job. Sometimes you're working around the clock, and sometimes there are times that you go months without even being noticed. There are even days when you have to scream at the top of your lungs just to be heard, and sometimes the unthinkable happens: you go silent for good.

Either way, it's generally pretty crowded up in the brain of a Mun. Have you ever wondered what it's like up there? ..Well of course not, it's your brain for goodness sake. I never said it wasn't fun to imagine though. 

But sometimes? Your muses just need a chance to unwind, take a break, or even blow off some steam...

RULES (AKA Here's how this meme works!! Along with general info and whatnot, please read!):

-This meme takes place in a bar that is a sort of limbo that intersects the headspaces of every mun who posts here! Surely that means the place will either be extremely crowded, or pretty empty.

-Choose two-three of your muses and make a thread with one of their journals, with their names posted in the subject line. It is recommended that you type up a short intro for your characters so someone tagging in knows what they're dealing with.

-Tag into threads with two-three muses of your own!

-When tagging with more than one muse, there are two ways you can do it.

--ONE: Use both journals, swapping journals after each round of tagging.
--TWO: Choose one journal to be the primary journal, and just play both characters. Change the color of the text for the other muses attached to that journal if you choose this route!

-There isn't a right or wrong way to do this, just thread in a way that works for you and your RP partner! Feel free to have just one muse at the bar as well if you'd prefer one-on-one interaction.

-Feel free to choose from the prompts below to get a thread going, or come up with your own!

1. | Who's that over there? | You came to this place to meet some new people right? ..No? Well whatever, might as well mingle anyway. This place has a lot more to do than that dear_mun joint, if anything.

2. | I think we've met before | Oh hey, is that a canon mate over yonder? Better go say hi because if you're a lone-canon warrior in your game-thing, you may never see them again. ...If you're lucky they'll recognize you too, but AUs have become a fairly common occurance in headspaces as of late, so watch out!

3. | What's cookin', good lookin'? | Whether they're a canon mate or someone you've never met before, all you know is that is a very attractive character and you wouldn't mind getting to know them a bit more. What's wrong with a little crossover every now and then? People will ship anything these days.

4. | This drink, I like it. Another! | Looks like you're starting to get a little tipsy with your headspace mates over there. No worries, one of you has to be the DD right? ...well, just make sure you don't wander back into a brain that isn't the one you came from.

5. | You talkin' to me?! | Someone's starting to cheese you off good fashion, and if something doesn't happen soon the fists are going to be flying. Or maybe you've already clocked someone in the nose? In that case, you might wanna take it outside.

6. | Hey pal. Wanna trade muns? | You're absolutely sick of your mun and you wanna give him or her a piece of your mind. Maybe your fellow headspace mates share the sentiments, or maybe you're all on your own. Either way, something's gotta change or you're going to throw in the towel.

7. | Everything is terrible and everything hurts. | Wow. You aren't looking so good over there, buddy. What has your mun done to you? I'm just going to assume terrible, terrible things, and now you're just really upset about it. Someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on would be appreciated right about now.

8. | Wild Card! | Mix prompts or come up with something new to make up your own scenario!

[CB leans up from the table beyond, looking curiously at what Tracey was doing.]

Yes, because what he wants is to be bothered while crafting what is undoubtedly a new human masterpiece.

[She gleefully ignores her companion.]

[Glancing up, Tracey smiles and tilts his drawing pad for her to see.]

Well, I had such an interesting model, I couldn't help sketching him out.

[Wilt seems a little ~~happily~~ embarrassed by that.]

Oh no, sorry...I mean, I'm flattered, but I'm not really...er, well...

[She looks at the pad, then up at Wilt and whistles, impressed.]

Yeah, I don't blame you! [She looked up in thought.] Y'know, I never considered drawing some of the Digimon I know...

[Tracey smiles.] It can be useful, having a reference for certain traits for certain creatures. Plus, sketching out Pokemon really helps me find differences between individual ones...

Y'know, that's a good point. I've gotta look into that.

[Karkat is listening, but he looks a little grumpy ~~what else is new~~, sitting there and stirring his drink with his straw, leaning heavily on one hand.]

[Of course, Wilt can't help noticing the grumpy guy.]

Sorry...are you okay?

Me? Oh yeah, I'm fine. Not at all languishing in nigh mute inactivity waiting for the day that maybe, just MAYBE, my tangled-up world might be a little more unraveled and I can actually stop sitting around staring at crazyass juggalo hornheads sitting around shoving soppor slop into literal pieholes.

Karkat, you know he doesn't mean the inactivity.

Yes, and compared to the museslinging I've seen it's almost a godsend. Maybe one day I can decide which way I feel like permanently bitching.

U-um... [Sorry, he's an imaginary friend that deals with kids, just the swearing leaves him at a loss for words.

Meanwhile, Tracey's still sketching...]

I hear things are picking up again, though...

[How someone can say that and still be as cheerful as Tracey is anyone's guess.]

Yeah, I've been there. It can be a little hard to be out of focus, but it's not so bad. 'Least things are in good hands.

Yeah...besides, I get to work on things I like doing...and at least I get to show up every once in a while.

[Finally having recovered from Karkat's tirade, Wilt nods and grins.]

Could be worse, right?

[Says the character who's show is off air.]

[CB gives Karkat a kick under the table when he starts to reply, which reduces him to mouthing off again as he leans down to rub his shin.]

Yeah, believe me. It could always be worse.

[By now, Tracey's finished with his current sketch, so he turns the page in his sketch book.]

So, tell me about Digimon...I've heard a little about them, but what are they like?

Yeah. We've get a lot of monster-like imaginary friends, but nothing like what I've heard about Digimon...

Weeellll... Why tell you, when I can show you?

You're not gonna...

[Eager Tracey is eager.]

Really? Yeah, that'd be great...!

[Karkat was now attempting to look like he didn't know her at all. Meanwhile CB closed her eyes, glowed softly-

And then was suddenly a little pink thing, though she had scruffy fur between the ears and freckles under each eye. Funny about that "individuality in a species" huh?]

[Tracey positively lights up.] Hey wow...! [And furious sketching...away!]

Wow...! I'm sorry, but that is awesome!

Thank you, thank you, I know. [Pose.]

[Tracey is just grinning as he sketches her Digimon form, doing his best to get the details just right.]

[He flips the pad around to show her.]
