You've chosen your path and it's led you to one of the worst possible ends. A bad ending you've averted in the past could be coming true after all, a possibility you've always feared could be happening now. It's game over.

one｡ SURVIVORS -- you two are the only ones left, whether it be the result of the apocalypse, a fight with the final boss gone horribly wrong, or something equally tragic. now you're left to contemplate friends and loved ones lost, as well as which one of you may be next.


two｡ SICKNESS -- you are seriously ill. poisoning, virus, perhaps it's even mental; whatever the reason, you doubt time is on your side this time.


three｡ FORGOTTEN -- you're not sure how, but your memories are crumbling and the things you do recall are hazy and make you dizzy. can you even recognize the person in front of you anymore?


four｡ SEPARATED -- you can see them, hear them, but something's keeping you from being with them. perhaps you're placed in a room with impenetrable glass dividing you, or you're hiding in a phone booth downtown, calling them secretly.


five｡ MELLOWED -- you've been through things, you've loved and you've lost, and all of that's changed you. maybe you finally decided to give in to temptation, you could be addicted to a substance you know is destroying you, or you've simply lost the optimism you had as a youth.

[She frowned, worried as the unicorn trailed off.] B-but what...?

[She took a deep breath] I.. I don't know about the rest of our frineds yet, but... Spike and everypony else are... are... d-d-de... [she gulped] They're dead...

[As she finished her sentence, tears streamed down her face. She awaited Fluttershy's reaction.]

Wh...wh-what... [Her eyes widen in horror.] N...N-no, that...th-that can't be...!

I-I'm sorry Fluttershy... I-it's true... They're all gone.

[Her voice cracked as more tears fell form her eyes. She closed them tightly, holding back a sob as she tried to pull herslef together.]

[strengthinkindness]

[Tears filled her own eyes, and she looked away, her hair covering her face as her body shook with held-back sobs.]

[Hearing her friend holding back sobs just broke Twilight's heart even more. She forced herself to look at her friend, and the sight was just too painful for her.

She cautiously waked over to her pegasus friend, holding back her own sobs before wrapping a hoof around her. She pulled her close to her and forced herself to speak.]

I-it's okay Fluttershy... I-it's all gonna be... be okay. I-I promise that it'll be okay.

[strengthinkindness]

[After a moment of quiet sobs, she looks up at Twilight.] Y-you...you said...y-you haven't found...the others...? C-could...could they still...be alive?

I-I really hope so... I-I haven't c-checked they're... they're homes yet [She holds Fluttershy tighter] his somehow Fluttershy... We'll get through this...

[She nods slightly, resting against Twilight a little. She wasn't sure how...but she believed her friend.

[Twilight felt her eyelids becoming heavy, and she now noticed the dark sky above. She wanted to go find her friends so badly, but...]

I think... we should rest for the night. Applejack, Rainbow, Pinkie, and Rarity can handle themselves, and we won't be much use to them if we're exhausted. Is that okay with you?

[strengthinkindness]

[She hesitates for a moment. She really wanted to find them, but...

But Twilight was right. If the others were in trouble...they couldn't help if they were too tired.

So eventually she nods in agreement.] Y...y-yeah, we...we probably should...

Okay then.

[She spotted a blanket underneath some rubble, so she used her magic to get it free and get some of the dirt off. She then wrapped it around herself and Fluttershy, still holding her friend close.]

It's going to be okay Fluttershy, I'll be here for you. We'll find our friends and a way bring Ponyville back to life. I promise.

[She offered her friend a gentle smile, hoping that it would be enough to comfort the shy pegasus.]

[She was silent for a moment, thinking. There were so many questions she had...so many things she wasn't sure of.

But glancing up at her friend, she managed a small smile as she nodded.]

Lets get some sleep, and tomorrow we'll find our friends. [She closed her eyes] G'night Fluttershy. [She then feel asleep, feeling safe and relaxed with her friend near her.]

[She was still a little scared, and worried about finding their other friends. But still...she felt a lot better having Twilight with her.]
