The Body Heat Meme




Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

Hmm? And what may that be? Are you referring to the fact that I do not experience the sensation of "chilliness" the same way that humans do?

Worry not - I am still more than capable of producing sufficient body heat for your benefit and shall most certainly feel the warmth of your body as well, despite my lack of need for it.

If you wanna try out a kotatsu, why not use a real one?

Why, because I haven't had the means to acquire one for myself, of course. And aside from that I really did want to give this "cuddling for warmth" a shot. Simply put, I saw an opportunity to kill one stone with two birds!

But no matter - are you positive you do not wish to give it a try? I believe you wished to experience human things as well, did you not?

Is it not the experience that is most important though?

You and I are much the same in this regard. Neither of us are human... and yet we wish to grow close to them and experience their world firsthand, so that we may also one day discover ourselves as we traverse the maze of life.

Just as one does not require a need for sustenance in order to appreciate the many flavours of the world, I believe we do not need to feel warmth to enjoy one another's company. I feel the memory of our attempt will be far more valuable.

there's a little bit of her that wants to sweep her uncertainty under the rug by saying something about wow liz, it's just a hug, no need to make such a big deal -- but it is kind of a big deal. She's a weapon, isn't she? Weapons generally don't receive hugs and that sort of affection.

Magnificent, isn't it? I saw it advertised on one of the televisions in that "Joo-ness" establishment. Apparently it's top of its line in the world of human comfort. They call it... a "snuggie"!

[wow she gets so excited as she says that, you can practically see the flowers coming off her]

I absolutely had to acquire one of them for myself right away, especially since I cannot keep a kotatsu with me instead.
