[Clementine looks over at Shaun with a small smile in return, her hands resting at her sides as she looks back out over the area. Currently seated up against one of the small buildings, it's easy to watch some people milling about as they go about their daily duties, looking almost for all the world like there aren't walkers roaming around outside the frozen walls.
It had been hard, coming here. It was hard enough to have to leave Kenny, not knowing where he would go from there. Probably further north if that were even possible, trying to find someplace safe enough to live. She liked to think that he found a new group. If anything, he made it out alive the first time...so he certainly wasn't easy to kill, that was for sure. So, for a little while, it was just her and AJ. He had become her brother, and even though other adults had taken over the task of watching the baby turned toddler, it was hard for them to completely wrest him from Clementine. She would refuse to be told that she couldn't take care of him.
Really, none of them had the room to argue. She had gone through more than a lot of them had.
Today, she wasn't thinking about that. At least, she was trying not to. It was cold, but it was quiet too, and that was a good thing. Seeing Shaun made her day a little better, too, because she liked Shaun. He was the first friend she'd had her age since Duck, and that felt like a century ago now.]
Pretty cold today. Do you think it might snow soon?
