wintercrazed | [Terminal Tokyo] Reunion Log

[You have awoken with a strange feeling of heaviness overtaking your entire body. For some reason, your first instinct isn't to panic as you find yourself in an unfamiliar place, far away from home...or perhaps not as unfamiliar as you think. Some of you draw your hands almost instinctively to your necks, fingertips tracing the cord there until you're tugging something from beneath your clothing. Suddenly, you remember everything as you stare at the Crest in your hand.
You have returned.

The city is completely put together, calm and tranquil, exactly as it most likely might have been the first time you saw it. Mysterious yet equally familiar creatures happily roam the streets, excited chatter buzzing as more and more Chosen begin to wake up. Everyone seems to be filing to a massive building near the center of the city, easily identifiable by the dome shaped roof it bares.

You make your way there, arriving surrounded by those you know and those you don't. Inside the building, the little creatures line every wall and some are perched on bleachers that surround the huge atrium. You stagger inside, breathless as your eyes instinctively scan the walls for your partner. Your partners. Your friends. The reunion among human and creature alike is joyful.

((OOC: This is a reunion log post for all former members of Terminal Tokyo! You may treat this however you would like, no rules or stipulations. If you wanna explore the city go right ahead, or just stay in the atrium to catch up with old pals! As always please keep everything at a respectable level, pg-13 and all that. Otherwise though, you have free reign! Characters can have one or both partners, depending on their experiences, and can recall as much or as little as you like.

Oh goodness..

Wow! No wonder you've grown! Bet you've been busy since then, huh?

Pretty busy. A good sort of busy. Busy enough to grow a few inches.

[He teases with another soft laugh, tapping his metal foot against the ground.]

Gave myself a few upgrades.

[Choco slides a little closer, examining his new foot.] Oh wow! That looks cool!

Thanks. I changed it up a bit to work with Toothless' saddle more easily.

[Like changing gears on a car, not that he'd know.]

That's your dragon friend back home, right?

[Fluttershy shuddered a bit at the word 'dragon', but still tried her best to listen.]

Mhm, sure is. He's grown a lot, too.

So what do you guys do back in your world? Do you guys go on a lot of fun adventures too?

More adventures than I could count. More adventures than I want, sometimes.

[It's Berk. If there wasn't something constantly happening or going not-as-planned, Hiccup would be concerned.]

[She giggled softly.] Mm...I know how that is...

[It seems like something always happening back home.]

Not that that's all that bad, of course. Beats not having anything to do.

[Fearless rolls his eyes a little, but for once has no quips to add.]

So, have you seen anyone else you remember?

It does certainly keep things interesting...

[She nods.] Mm...! I've seen a lot of friends already...

[Sprout gives her a sly grin.] Like Chris...?

[Fluttershy blushes slightly, but ignores her.] Wh-What about you...? H-Have you run into a lot of people yet...?

[Hiccup smiles, rubbing the back of his neck.]

Several, actually. Including Chris.

[She nods again, brushing hair from her face and tucking it behind her ear.]

Th-That's good...It's been really nice getting to...to catch up with everyone...

It is.

[He just wishes there was a way to keep in touch. ...to always remember.]

[She smiles.] S-So...what else have you been up to since we...all left?

Well...Toothless and I have been traveling around, mapping out the areas surrounding Berk. We've found loads of new dragon species.

[She smiles, hoping he doesn't notice the small shudder.]

That's...nice. Are they...friendly dragons?

[If he notices he doesn't seem to comment on it, offering a gentle smile.]

Absolutely. I don't think you could find friendlier dragons around.

Mm...that's good... [If she imagined the dragons like Spike, then she could tell herself they weren't so bad.

She hesitated for a moment, then glanced up at him.]

Hey...Hiccup?

Yeah?

[Hiccup asks, idly petting the side of Fearless' face with a finger.]

Um...[She glanced away, fidgeting slightly.] I know it was a while ago...but with...with all the stuff that happened afterwards and...well, uh...I never really got to...to thank you for...for saving me, uh...

That time...

[For a moment Hiccup just stares at her, the memory eluding him...until it washes over him all in an instant, and he finds himself unconsciously reaching across his side to rest his fingertips across his midriff.]

...You don't have to thank me, Fluttershy. I couldn't just see you be hurt.

..I-I know. But I...I always let Chris and Martin...know how much I appreciated their help for that time...and you were the one to help me first...

And I just...if we get sent back home again, I...I-I just wanted to...to let you know how...how grateful I was - I am...

..Well, you're welcome. I'm glad I could have been there to do something.

[Though there's a bit of sadness in his tone since he didn't really save her, he wouldn't have had it any other way either.]

[She smiled and, after just a bit of hesitation, stepped closer to hug embrace him.]
