wintercrazed | [Terminal Tokyo] Reunion Log

[You have awoken with a strange feeling of heaviness overtaking your entire body. For some reason, your first instinct isn't to panic as you find yourself in an unfamiliar place, far away from home...or perhaps not as unfamiliar as you think. Some of you draw your hands almost instinctively to your necks, fingertips tracing the cord there until you're tugging something from beneath your clothing. Suddenly, you remember everything as you stare at the Crest in your hand.
You have returned.

The city is completely put together, calm and tranquil, exactly as it most likely might have been the first time you saw it. Mysterious yet equally familiar creatures happily roam the streets, excited chatter buzzing as more and more Chosen begin to wake up. Everyone seems to be filing to a massive building near the center of the city, easily identifiable by the dome shaped roof it bares.

You make your way there, arriving surrounded by those you know and those you don't. Inside the building, the little creatures line every wall and some are perched on bleachers that surround the huge atrium. You stagger inside, breathless as your eyes instinctively scan the walls for your partner. Your partners. Your friends. The reunion among human and creature alike is joyful.

((OOC: This is a reunion log post for all former members of Terminal Tokyo! You may treat this however you would like, no rules or stipulations. If you wanna explore the city go right ahead, or just stay in the atrium to catch up with old pals! As always please keep everything at a respectable level, pg-13 and all that. Otherwise though, you have free reign! Characters can have one or both partners, depending on their experiences, and can recall as much or as little as you like.

[He walked over a bit as she flew over, a big smiel on his face.]

It's great to see you! It... it's been so long now.

Yeah, the server sent you all back... I lost track of how long ago it was now.

So how have you been? You look like you've been doing well.

Mm, it does feel like so long...so much time has passed back home, too...

I'm doing all right...things have been a little busy at home, but it turned out well for the most part.

How about you?

Uhhh... it's been... kind of chaotic since I was sent home. Lets just say that my brothers and I have been busy with a lot as of late. But otherwise I'm doing alright.

[For the most part, anyways.]

Oh goodness. Have you guys been okay?

Well... physiaclly yeah. But...

[He really didn't want to dump all of his problems on Flutterhsy... again. Especially for this reunion. But he had a lot lingering on his mind too.]

There have been a lot of tough situations... we kind of caused something horrible to happen. On accident, and we're working on fixing it. But a lot of bad things have happened because of it, some worst than others. And recently... we found out that one of our enemies, a girl named Karai... she's Master Splinter's daughter. And right now she's being held captive by the bad guys, so... there's that.

Oh no... [She gently places a hand on his arm; a soft, reassuring touch.] That sounds awful...I'm sorry that's been happening for you...

[He sighed] It's okay. Leo is the one most upset about Karai, I still don't know what to think of her really. But... we're working on making things right. I was able to find a few ways to fix at least part of our problems, so it's not all bad. And compared to...

[He paused for a moment, his hand going to his arm, where the scars had now returned.]

...compared to the Dark Zone and... the Virus, this I can get through.

[She smiled a little.] I'm sure you can...After everything that's happened here, I know you can get through anything.

[That got him to smile. Same old Fluttershy, she was still the same person.. pegasus... whatever, that he remembered.]

Thanks Fluttershy.

Yeah, great. Now can you quit getting mopey? What is it with you and making things all emotional!

Paolo! Be nice!

But isn't that just Donnie being Donnie?

[Choco snickered at his own joke, but quieted down when Fluttershy shot him a warning look.]

[Donnie just sends Choco a glare.]

Looks like you haven't changed much Choco. But it looks like you all have been doing well.

Eh, it's alright. The city got put back together at least and there haven't been any glitches... yet.

It should be okay. Things have been pretty peaceful lately.

So then did they fix whatever was going on?

We're not really sure what happened. You guys all vanished, we figured out that you were all sent home, got told later that the city was back together, and we've been going about out lives.

We're just going under the assumption that things have been worked out.

Yeah, things have been okay so far. Better enjoy it while it lasts.

[Never know when something's going to happen again.]

So then... any idea why we were brought back?

Who knows? I'm guessing a glitch, if you all we're supposed to come back we'd have known about it like we did when you all came the first time.

So then... this might be a temporary deal...

Mm...maybe...

But it's...still a nice opportunity to see everyone again...

Yep, Donnie here already got re-united with his girlfriend not long ago!

[Blushes] Paolo!

Oh, that's so sweet...! I haven't seen Marley yet, how is she?

As good as she can be, I supposed.

The two lovebirds were just happy to see each other.

[She smiled.] That's wonderful...! I'm glad you guys got to see each other...

Yeah, I've seen her and a lot of others that were with us in the Digital World. It looks like the Digital World brought a lot of us back.

Mm...It's turning out to be a lovely reunion...

Yeah, and this time we don't have to worry about any evil threats or anything to stop or any glitches to be worried about. It's nice to just see everyone again and not have to worry about anything anymore, right?

[She nodded.] Yes, that would be nice...

Yeah...

[He went quiet for a moment. he had left a lot unsaid when he got sent home, and if this really was temporary, he wanted to say what needed to be said before then.]

Listen Fluttershy... I never really got to tell you this before... well okay I guess I have but I didn't get to tell you before I got sent home. But... I just wanted to say thank you. You've been supporting me ever since we met... even when I hit my lowest point, you never gave up on me. I... I never got to tell you how much I appreciated that, it helped me go on. So... I just want to tell you thank you... for everything that you did.
