magicalrealist: (Wanna run that by me again?)

Twilight Sparkle (ponies/Mayfield AU) and Kreutzer (Gundemonium/game AU)

That cloak really must mean a lot to you, if you choose to keep it on even when we're indoors.

Force of habit. Besides...a dear friend bought it for me...surely, you understand that.

I do...I really do.

(Though disheartening, having these two girls be so down is rather normal for them. Though they're working through their problems, sure, it's still a process...one the unicorn is still going through while the human has technically completed and is doing a second time...blame multiple game shenanigans.)

You've already finished your character development in game, haven't you? How rough was it?

Incredibly so. It took all of Mayfield to put me in the right direction and the Thor to cement it. My Reaper's Game counterpart is doing well enough on her own, but that's beside the point; it takes a lot to change a person and completing them is never easy. The best you can do is press onwards. I found my reason to live...then again, I didn't have to be sent home to find it, so perhaps you are more reliable on the subject than I am.

Gee...thanks.

(She drinks from her mug.)

...If it's any consolation, it appears as though my development isn't quite as finished as I hoped...or perhaps it is and Riki simply wishes to see how far it can go. Something akin to those "cash-in sequels" I've heard about.

...Is it too early to place bets on how long it'll last?

Not at all. My wager is three months; the first will be fueled by initial excitement, the second it'll begin to dwindle and the third, he'll realize how impulsive the decision was.

(A chuckle.)

You've got it all figured out, don't you?

Force of habit.

(The two girls share a chuckle at their mun's expense...something they don't get to do very often. While it is without entirely sadistic intent, it helps to know they can still poke their fun at him once in a while since he does so much more often than that.)
