awesmazings[After spending an entire three months lost all over the furthest reaches of Hoenn, Jimmy had requested for the Foundation to give him a little extra time there to rest, even though he wasn't actively under any orders or missions. It was fine, really- it's not like Jimmy actually needed to get permission to stay in the first place. For nearly half a year, he'd been practically living at their HQ, so what was a few more days before he headed back to Miseryville? Beezy would miss him, but Lucius sure as heck wouldn't.
And so here he stayed, hanging around and helping the other members out with things as needed, though they never really needed him. Jimmy was a good worker and would do anything they asked, but things like files and paperwork were better left to more...capable hands, not that he minded that all too much.
Being given a starter Pokemon had been for the purposes of keeping him protected from wild encounters during their search for Kalos, and of course Jimmy had become hopelessly attached to the Treecko he'd been given. He knew he wouldn't be able to take her home with him, but even then he'd been surprised by how quickly they'd gotten close with each other. And naturally, Serena had taken the opportunity to teach Jimmy the art of head-it.
So now he sits just outside of the building in the grass with a blue ball of yarn in one hand, the Treecko crouched expectantly in front of him with eyes locked on the ball. After a pause he tosses it into the air in a high arc, watching it fly and come down before the Treecko eagerly bops it back to him. He couldn't recall what their last record was (up in the three hundreds, at least) but he was determined to break it.]
