[The day the castle gates were finally opened in Arendelle was certainly as momentous as everyone expected it to be. Both exciting and somewhat bittersweet as royalty from far and wide came to witness the coronation of the next in line to the throne, Elsa. Now she stood as Queen of Arendelle, with her sister Anna as a Princess by her side.
By now evening had fallen and the guests were finally getting a chance to dance and mingle. Elsa could be seen standing at the head of the room, the picture of authority if ever there was one. And then there was her sister, who nearly had to be dragged to her proper position before the rest of the crowd before she wasted no time making her way onto the floor with everyone else. Apparently someone had managed to catch her eye, and now she was trying to hail them from across the room...
Of course he would ignore her, for the time being. Hans did have a rather surprising encounter with the Princess several hours prior, which managed to land him into the ocean and into a new change of clothes. Not a particularly pleasant first meeting, but she wasn't the person he'd been vying to get on good terms with.
He lets his gaze pass Anna, acting as if he hadn't noticed her yet as he quietly shoulders through the crowd to the end of the hall where Elsa still stands, overlooking the proceedings. Lucky for him the Duke of Weselton managed to get his hands on Anna for a dance while he made his way. At least he would have her occupied for a while.]
Queen Elsa. It is an honor.
[He smiles slightly to her in greeting, bowing his head with one arm folded across his chest.]
