[Mabel may have been known to be oblivious at times, but by no means was she idiotic. The realisation hadn't hit her right away, but she did begin to notice her brother had been absent for quite some time. After all, having been together for so long, it would have been uncanny for her not to have realised that her brother hadn't been around lately.
She didn't think much of it, however. Her brother had always been one for adventure, and while she was too, the twins just... drifted apart during their journey from varying interests. While Dipper would aspire to research, Mabel would aspire to catch more cute Pokémon. In her mind, it would make sense for Dipper to be gone for many days if he was out researching, filling his Pokédex, no doubt. He would come back eventually, she believed that.
Though to say she wasn't bothered by Dipper's absence was a lie. She had now been spending much more time out on the routes, training her team and catching new Pokémon as a means of coping with the loneliness. And that just so happens to be where she is now: currently resting against a tree, her Tepig resting on her lap, snugly situated within her arms. As for the rest of her team, they're roaming freely, playing with one another nearby so Mabel can keep her eye on them. Though, she trusts them not to go and get themselves into trouble.
With a sigh, Mabel idly pets Tepig while he's sleeping, briefly letting her eyes fall closed. Being out here with her team had been a diversion at first, but it couldn't distract her for too long, it seemed.]
